Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani Eye Shadow Palette!

Hello!

I am very excited today as Sephora officially launches the sales for the LIMITED EDITION URBAN DECAY x GWEN STEFANI eyeshadows palette! It was release on December 17 in Singapore. For 15 colours, its price at SGD$85. If you are a member with 250 Sephora points, you'll get 10% off (duh...), which i did! Whoohoo!

However, if you want to get it cheaper, you can also purchase it from Johor Bahru (JB, Malaysia) and I think any Sephora Malaysia may carry the product, price at RM235. Otherwise, Luxola.com, do sometimes have special discounts promo/code that you can purchase online at a cheaper price.

The palette consist of 15 colours which are chosen by Gwen herself and it almost the full size (0.04 Oz) of Urban Decay single eyeshadow which is 0.05 Oz (SGD$26/per shadow). In the box, I found some lipstick samples which is also a collaboration of Urban Decay and Gwen Stefani.

As always Urban decay eyeshadows never disappoint. The pigmentation is on point and its easy to blend. This is the first time Urban Decay collaborate with celebs in their makeup line. Therefore it must be really special. Better get your hands on them before they disappear! It's LIMITED EDITION!

What I like about this palette is that it consists of everyday neutrals that is easy to use and can be worn for every occasion. There are matte, shimmery and metallic colours. On top of that, there are few colours that pop's up for that extra something for special occasions like the colour "Danger" - blue and "1987" -gold and "Harajuku" - Pink, therefore it is not all boring.

Here are the shots of the swatches for the colours in the palette.

From left to right:
1. Blonde
2. Bathwater
3. Skimp
4. Steady
5. Punk

6. Baby
7. Anaheim
8. Stark
9. Zone
10. Serious

11. Pop
12. Harajuku
13. Danger
14. 1987
15. Blackout

In my opinion, if you are new with makeup or new with eyeshadow and want to experiment with them, this is a good palette. Personally, i think the colours are better than the Urban Decay Naked palettes.

Strobing with Becca Opal Glow On The Go!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Hello again!

I tried a new product this week. A new product associated with the new trend - Strobing. For those who are unfamiliar with this word, it is the opposite of contouring, playing with reflecting light on your face, making yourself look as if you are glowing from within.

It also enhances your features, that is, if done correctly.  The angel look!

Becca highlighting product has been all the rave this year. It’s turning into a cult product for highlighting. The Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Opal and Shimmering Skin Perfector  has been the best selling for months, now with the new edition from Becca, Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne pop, is what everyone is talking about. It compliments every skintone and provide a nice shimmer to the face for that perfect glowing face. I still have not gotten around to get it yet.

Since this is my first time playing with highlights, I've decided to purchase this set from Luxola for $34. It consist of a Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlights Opal (0.17 Fl.Oz.) and Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Opal (0.085oz). It is small. Smaller than I expected. However with this product, a little goes a long way. So this may last me for some time. It is also parabens free.

OMG! Let me tell you... I'm in love with this Highlighter. Even better than the Benefit Highbeam.

I mixed the spotlights Opal with my Chanel Velvet foundation, just a drop and wore it all over my face. Finished it with some loose powder and my face was dewy and fresh. I then used the Shimmering Perfector Pressed Opal. Glowing I am when i was using this, just a little across my upper cheekbones and at the tip of my nose. Oh BOY! FRESH and GLOWY

Now I know why it was such a hot item. It is so finely milled, so luxurious and it has a velvet pearly iridescence finish. Was worried that i was going to look oily/greasy with the Singapore HUMID Weather ( its was about 32c/ 89 fahrenheit). Proven wrong. I wore it for more than 10 hours since noon. Amazing! Will definitely try to get my hand on the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne pop!

The full size for this products is more on the high-end pricing. The Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlights Opal (1.7 Fl.Oz.) going for $62 and Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Opal (0.28 Oz.) is for $58.- for now only available at Luxola.com
