the new Foreo LUNA Play!
Yes! Foreo have launched a new product.
It is basically a miniature version of the Foreo Luna Mini 2 (priced at SGD$225.00) which you may buy from Sephora or Sephora Online.
The Foreo Luna Mini 2 does wonders to my skin care regime. I was as always skeptical about it especially because of the price. I couldn't tell much difference on my skin on my first use. However, after 3 days of usage, my skin looks more radiant and clear. I also have exceptionally lesser breakouts - Now who doesn't want that?! I do not know how it is, but my skin is also less oily throughout the day.

How do I use it?
I use the Luna Mini 2 twice everyday ( in the day and night) to exfoliate my skin pairing it with my Chanel Foaming Mousse Cleanser. It does so gently. Its 15s on the forehead, then the right cheek, left and down the centre of your face. A total of 1 minute for the whole face. Fast and easy. It has a built in timer. It stops for 1s once the 15s is up, so you know when to change sides. It stops for 1s twice to let you know that the 1 minute is up!
So when the Foreo LUNA Play came out I was extremely excited. It is so cute and small. It works the same way. I don't travel as much as I would like or wish to, but we all know that many out there are frequent travellers and also suckers for all things miniature, especially if it lightens the luggage load and easy to pack into our beauty bags. It is so small and travel friendly. It is perfect for travelling, gym and even sleepovers. The batt should last up to 100 uses (100 minutes).
Both these product come with a silicone brush, hence its more hygienic. It is also waterproof. So you don't need to worry about water seeping inside the charging point (for LUNA Mini 2).
The downsides, for Foreo LUNA Play, to me:
- It is not rechargeable. Therefore you have to discard it after the battery runs out.
- It does not have the 1s stop once you've done 15s.
- There is only one speed.
Looking at the bright side, by the time you have used till the 100th time, it is really time to discard it. It only costs a fraction of the Foreo LUNA Mini 2. Totally recommend this if you are looking to try a device to enhance your skin care game before you decide to purchase the full size one.
For the avid travellers, this would really be great for packing. They looks like macarons.
